It is not so easy to tell the months of work that were needed to prepare paintings for the exhibition of 2017: six large 3 meter x 2 canvases representing six of the 12 fundamental episodes of Christ’s life that gave birth to the 12 great Byzantine feasts. Three canvases were painted in Greece, in Kozani’s iconography workshops, and three in Florence by the students of the iconographic art school in the Associazione Archeosofica. In addition to this, the participants made each one an icon on wood with the subject of the exhibition, the face of Christ. These days were intense, exciting and fun. We share with you all the enthusiasm and passion of these months of work by posting these photos of the backstage in Greece and in Italy.
